Living

What's it like as a place to live? Leeds Trinity and All Saints is surrounded by stunning scenery - great headspace for learning.

How's the student accommodation?  The accommodation is varied. You can choose self-catered or part-catered; shared facilities or ensuite; there's old and new buildings.

What's the student population like? The ethnic minority groups are small here. You get a good few locals and the rest are mainly British.

How do students and locals get on?  There are no concerns about student safety really. Horsforth's a proper nice place; you'll have no trouble if you use your common sense.

Studying

What's it like as a place to study?  Nearly all the classrooms have SMART Board facilities and the interior of the buildings are clean and modern.

What are the teaching staff like?  Very supportive and keen on student success.

Socialising

What are student societies like?  The SU is open and approachable and many new societies start each year - it's all down to what the students want.

What's a typical night out?  Down to HQ bar for pre-drinks then into the city centre.

And how much does it cost? You can survive on £20 a night.

How can you get home safely?  Buses are put on for a lot of the nights.

Money

Is it an expensive place to live? Average house prices are £62-£70 per week.

Average price of a pint?  £1.50−£2.

And the price of a takeaway? Pizza @ £4.50, cheeseburger and chips @ £3.

What's the part-time work situation?  There's loads of part-time work about and uni have a Job Shop space specifically to help students find work.

Summary

What's the best feature about the place?  It's surrounded by stunning scenery and yet is 15 minutes from Leeds City centre.

And the worst? The on-campus bar needs a refurb and there's no student common room.

And to sum it all up? An exceptional place to learn about life and your subject choice.
